The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional standards.
. The Staff Nurse will provide holistic, person centered care promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
. Adhere to national, regional and local guidelines, policies, protocols and legislation.
. Maintain appropriate and accurate written nursing records and reports regarding resident care.
. Collaborate and work closely with the resident, their family, the multidisciplinary team, external agencies and services to facilitate discharge planning, continuity of care and specific care requirements.
. Have a working knowledge of HIQA standards.
Requirements:
. Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
. English. Good standard of written and spoken language
